JACKSON, Tenn. -- RRAC champion Langston University (Okla.) bowed out of the 2010 NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Championship with a narrow loss to Lee University (Tenn.), 65-63, on Thursday. Latesha Calton-Woods scored 15 points and Stephanie Madden registered a double-double (13 points, 16 rebounds) while helping the Lady Lions build a six-point lead late in the game. However, Lee closed the game on a 12-4 run to edge Langston at the finish. Langston ends the season at 25-8. (

Making its first appearance in the national tournament, Southwestern Assemblies of God University (Texas) fell to the nation's top-ranked team Union University (Tenn.), 86-47, on Wednesday. SAGU's Chelsea Jones led all scorers with 20 points, but Union connected on a tournament record 15 three-point shots and outrebounded SAGU, 48-22. (
