, Texas -- Katherine Rosenbush of Texas Wesleyan University was named the first Red River Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week of the 2010 season, while Brittani Toole of Southwestern Assemblies of God University (Texas) was selected as the RRAC Hitter of the Week, Evoni Darling of TWU as the RRAC Setter of the Week, and Marissa Rangel of TWU as the RRAC Libero of the Week.

 
Rosenbush, a freshman middle blocker from Hutto, Texas, led the Lady Rams to 3-0 week and the tournament title in the Wesleyan Hughes Classic. She hit .260 for the week with 32 kills and 12 errors. Rosenbush added three aces, three digs and seven blocks overall. In her best performance, she delivered 16 kills in 32 attempts to sink Mid-America Christian University (Okla.). The Lady Rams are now 4-3 on the season.

Toole, a senior middle hitter from Whitehouse, Texas, compiled a hitting percentage of .214 with 44 kills as the Lady Lions won one of three matches in their first action of the season. she accounted for 23 kills against MACU and 21 against Loyola University (La.). Toole committed just 19 errors and collected 20 digs including 13 against LU.

Darling, a senior setter from Grapevine, Texas, racked up 123 assists and 29 digs while making no reception errors and only one service error (37 attempts). Darling also contributed seven blocks, and she had highs of 49 assists against MACU and 12 digs against LU.

Rangel, a junior defensive specialist from Montebello, Calif., posted 53 digs for the Lady Rams. She had just one reception error in 62 attempts. Against LU, Rangel notched 23 digs and powered two service aces.
