WACO, Texas -- Ramon Rodriguez of Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) was selected as the Red River Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 5-11, while Aldo Rodriguez of Huston-Tillotson University (Texas) was named the RRAC Defensive Player of the Week for the same dates.

Ramon Rodriguez, a sophomore forward from McAllen, Texas, accounted for three goals and an assist as the Saints won a pair of conference matches last week. He notched two goals before providing an assist on the game-winner to Erik Torkildsen for the 3-2 victory over Texas Wesleyan University. He also contributed a goal to the 4-0 defeat of University of the Southwest (N.M.). OLLU moves to 2-1 in conference play and 5-4 overall.

Aldo Rodiguez, a sophomore goalkeeper from Austin, Texas, posted two shutouts to secure two conference victories for the Rams. He provided three saves as HT topped Texas College, 2-0, then blanked Bacone College (Okla.) as the Rams won by the same score. HT remains unbeaten in the RRAC at 3-0 with a mark of 6-3-1 on the season.
