WACO, Texas -- Octavia Mullins of Texas Wesleyan University was selected as the Red River Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 7-13.

Mullins, a senior forward form Hoover, Ala., averaged 16.5 points and 19.5 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week on the road for the Lady Rams. She scored 19 and grabbed 19 boards in a 64-53 win over the University of Science & Arts (Okla.). Mullins then accounted for 16 points and 20 rebounds, one shy of the TWU record for rebounds in a single game, en route to a 66-56 defeat of the University of New Orleans (La.). The Lady Rams are now 2-1 on the season.

Keyara Criner of Texas College, Jenna Diakos of LSU Shreveport and Chinwendu Mbah were additional nominees for this week's award.
