WACO, Texas -- Cesar Silva of Huston-Tillotson University (Texas) claimed the Red River Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award for Oct. 26-Nov. 1, while his teammate, Aldo Rodriguez took RRAC Defensive Player of the Week for the same dates.

Silva, a freshman midfielder from Houston, powered HT to a 2-0 week with a pair of goals. He booted in a goal as the Rams defeated University of the Southwest (N.M.) and he accounted for the only goal and his first college game-winner in a 1-0 victory over Texas Wesleyan University. HT climbed to second in the conference at 7-1 with a 10-5-1 mark overall. 

Rodriguez, a sophomore goalkeeper from Austin, Texas, collected both shutouts for the Rams. He snared four saves while facing 12 shots on goal in HT's two victories.
