
Ferreira, a sophomore outside hitter from Uberlandia, Brazil, helped the Scorpions close out a perfect conference season with two more victories and 7.8 kills per game. She posted 15 kills and 16 digs against TWU and added 16 and 18 to sink SAGU. Her 31 kills came on 53 total attacks with five errors for a hitting percentage of .491. UTB, which was 16-0 in conference play and 29-1 on the season enters the RRAC Championship tournament as the top seed.
Clemons, a senior middle blocker from Grand Prairie, Texas, racked up 36 kills and nine blocks in a 2-1 week for the Lady Rams. Against Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas), she recorded a career-high of seven total blocks in only three games, while adding 15 kills and a pair of service aces. Clemons finished with 36 kills in 67 total attacks for the week. TWU enters to the RRAC tournament as the fourth seed with a 10-6 mark in the RRAC and 16-16 overall.
Toole, a junior middle hitter from Whitehouse, Texas, piled up 45 kills and 23 digs as the Lady Lions closed out the regular season with a 1-2 weekend. She collected 18 kills and 12 digs in a 3-1 loss to OLLU and she added 14 kills in a win over Huston-Tillotson University (Texas). Toole had a hitting percentage of .387 and three service aces. SAGU is the third seed in the RRAC tournament with a record of 10-6, 23-8.
Bracero, a senior setter from Sabana Grande, P.R., generated 84 assists in the Scorpions' two matches. She dished out 41 against TWU and a season-high 43 against SAGU, while chipping in five kills and nine digs.
Dornelas, a junior middle blocker from Paraiba, Brazil, scooped 24 digs last week including 13 against SAGU. Playing the libero position for the first time all season, she committed only three receiving errors in 14 chances.
