
Manning, a senior guard from Tyler, Texas, powered the Steers to a 2-0 start to the 2009-10 season including a 20-assist effort in a victory over Dillard University (La.). In that game, he scored 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting from the field as TC rolled, 93-82. Manning followed that up with 14 points and nine assists in a 99-57 trouncing of Southwestern Adventist University (Texas) despite playing only 20 minutes. He was perfect from field goal range at 6-for-6 including a pair of three-pointers against SAU. Manning currently leads the NAIA in assists.
