FORT WORTH, Texas -- The University of Texas-Brownsville completed a perfect run through RRAC play by ousting Wiley College, 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-17) in the final match of the 2009 RRAC Volleyball Championship in Fort Worth.

UTB, ranked #9 in the NAIA, posted a 16-0 conference mark during the regular season then won two more matches in the RRAC tournament. The Scorpions are 31-1 on the season and will advance to the NAIA Volleyball National Championship.

RRAC Player of the Year Arlene Ferreira led the Scorpions with 10 kills and nine digs. Daianarah Bracero had 29 assists. Wiley's Jessica Lopez had eight kills and Yuly Chalar had 11 digs.
