WACO, Texas -- Priscilla Roel of Bacone College (Okla.) emerged as the Red River Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the span of Nov. 30-Dec. 6.

Roel, a senior guard from Rialto, Calif., contributed double-digit scoring in a pair of victories for the Lady Warriors last week. In a narrow 87-85 win over Williams Baptist College (Ark.), she scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds. She followed with 20 points and six boards to knock off Central Baptist College (Mo.), 93-88. For the week, she made 8-of-13 shots from the field and 5-of-7 from three-point range. Bacone is now 4-2 on the season.


Additional nominees included Tiffany Adair of Texas Wesleyan University, Sanetra Jackson of Langston University (Okla.), Krystal Manning of Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas), Sirena Medrano of University of the Southwest (N.M.) and Ashley Welch of Wiley College (Texas).
