Three RRAC student-athletes were recognized with the release of the 2009 Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball All-America Teams. RRAC Player of the Year Arlene Ferreira of the University of Texas-Brownsville was named to the first team while her teammate, Valquiria Coboclo, was a third-team selection. Brittani Toole of Southwestern Assemblies of God University (Texas) received honorable mention honors.
