WACO, Texas -- Tiffany Adair of Texas Wesleyan University was named the recipient of the Red River Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week award for Dec. 14-20.

Adair, a junior guard from Kennard, Texas, guided the Lady Rams to a victory in their first conference game of the season, a 62-55 win over Wiley College (Texas). She scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds while collecting six assists and four steals. She sank 5-of-11 shots from the field to lift TWU to 5-4 on the season.

Wiley's Whitney Goard was also nominated for this week's award.
