OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Our Lady of the Lake overcame a 12-stroke, final round deficit to claim the team title at the 2015 RRAC Men's Golf Championships, which were played at Twin Hills Golf and Country Club. OLLU jumped from third to first on the final day as three Saints golfers -- Ian Berrigan, Christopher Schriedel and Tommy Xu -- each shot rounds of 70 on the par-72 course. UT-Brownsville finished only four strokes behind in second, while St. Thomas was only six strokes off the lead in third. RRAC teams played in the combined event against teams from the Sooner Athletic Conference.
UTB's Angel Aguirre won the individual title while also posting a third-round score of 70 to finish five shots better than Berrigan and Schriedel who tied for second. Xu and UST's Jeffrey Swearingen finished tied for fourth. UTB's Saad Milan was named RRAC Men's Golfer of the Year. OLLU's Alan Baxter was selected RRAC Coach of the Year.
