WACO, Texas – Phillip Miller of Wiley College (Texas) claimed the Red River Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week award for his play over the dates of Nov. 17-23. This is the third weekly honor of the 2014-15 men's basketball season.

 

Miller is off to a strong start as the conference's top scorer, and he added to his lead while spearheading an 88-79 victory over Southwestern Assemblies of God University (Texas) on Saturday. The senior guard from Dallas registered 33 points, four rebounds and seven assists in the game, raising his scoring average to 24.4 over five games. Miller was 7-of-11 from field goal range, 3-of-4 from behind the three-point arc and 16-of-18 on free throw attempts. The Wildcats stepped up to 2-3 on the season with the win over SAGU.
