WACO, Texas – Jaclyn Bautista of Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) captured the Red River Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week award for her performance over the dates of Oct. 13-19. Anna Siruckova of the University of Texas-Brownsville earned RRAC Hitter of the Week recognition, while UTB's Tina Sekulic was selected as Setter of the Week. Alexandra Wilborn of OLLU was honored as the Libero of the Week. This is the eighth set of weekly awards for the 2014 season.

 

Bautista, a junior middle blocker from El Paso, Texas, posted a .548 hitting percentage in a 2-1 week for the Saints. She accounted for nine kills in a 3-0 victory over Wiley College (Texas), and she added seven in a sweep of Jarvis Christian College (Texas). In all, Bautista had 20 kills on 31 total attacks with three errors. OLLU sits at 9-2 in conference play and 13-8 on the season.
