VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Texas Wesleyan University's men's and women's teams earned a berth in the NAIA Cross Country National Championships on Saturday, making their first appearances in the national event. TWU's women finshed 28th as a team, led by Jessica Davis who finished 106th among individuals. Five other conference runners qualified for the event.  

The Rams' Andres Herrera was the top finisher for the RRAC on the men's side in 102nd, while TWU's Juan Salazar was in 122 and Jairus Kipkemoi from Wiley College (Texas) was at 222. Fiver other men's runners from the RRAC competed in the event as well.
