GULF SHORES, Ala. -- RRAC champion Northwood University (Texas) defeated Midland (Neb.), 1-0, but it was not enough to advance to bracket play at the 2011 NAIA Softball National Championship. The Lady Knights completed pool play with a 1-2 record, and Oregon Tech advanced from the group. Northwood finished the year at 38-13.
