HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Our Lady of the Lake saw the best season in its program's history come to an end as the Saints lost an elimination game on Tuesday in the Opening Round of the 2014 NAIA Softball World Series. Ottawa University (Kan.) defeated OLLU, 7-2, after building a 3-0 lead in the first inning and extending it to 7-0 in the top of the seventh. The Saints responded with two runs in the bottom half of the inning, but it was too little too late. Kimberlee Briseno doubled off the wall to drive in both runs, and Elizabeth Rodriguez had two hits for the Saints. The RRAC regular season and conference tournament champions, OLLU finished at 39-12-1
