Flanagan flies to RRAC men's hoops player of the week honor

WACO, Texas – Melvion Flanagan of LSU Shreveport (La.) collected the RRAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week award for the dates of Nov. 20-26. This is the fourth award of the 2023-24 men's basketball season.

Flanagan poured in 22 points with four three-pointers in the Pilots' 95-80 victory over the University of North Texas-Dallas last Tuesday. The junior guard from Alexandria, La., was 6-of-9 from the field and 5-of-5 from the free throw line. Flanagan is averaging 13.8 points per game, and he is 12-of-13 on free throws this season. LSUS holds a 4-0 record overall.
