TAMUT's Eguaikhide, Zavala secure RRAC men's soccer weekly awards

WACO, Texas – Real Eguaikhide of Texas A&M University-Texarkana was tabbed as the RRAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 9-15, and his teammate, Dante Zavala, received the RRAC Defensive Player of the Week honor for the same dates. This is the fourth set of conference winners for the 2024 men's soccer season.

Eguaikhide delivered the game-winning goal in the Eagles' 3-1 win over Dallas Christian College (Texas). The junior midfielder from Houston picked up his first goal of the season, and TAMUT evened its record at 2-2-1.

Zavala displayed a strong defensive performance in the victory over DCC. The senior defender from Houston also chipped in a goal.
