Wildcats' Goff, Pilots' Williams represent RRAC as women's basketball players of the week
WACO, Texas – Princis Goff of Louisiana Christian University captured the RRAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week award for Nov. 11-17, while Erynn Williams of LSU Shreveport (La.) earned the RRAC Defensive Player of the Week honor for the same dates. This is the second set of weekly awards for the 2024-25 women's basketball season.
Goff posted 29.5 points per game as the Wildcats split a pair of conference contests. The junior forward from Atlanta, La., registered her eighth career double-double with 31 points and 12 rebounds in a victory over Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas), and she dropped 29 points on Texas A&M University-San Antonio. With a trio of three-pointers against OLLU, she set a new career high. Goff leads the conference with 23.3 points per game in the early going. LCU is 1-2 on the season.
Williams set a school record with eight steals in the Pilots' win over Texas A&M University-Texarkana on Tuesday. The senior guard from Saginaw, Mich., finished the week with 12 steals in two games. LSUS is 2-0 in conference play and 3-2 overall.
