Milton, Reeves honored with RRAC baseball weekly awards

WACO, Texas – Joshua Milton of Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) was selected as the RRAC Baseball Player of the Week for April 7-13, while Cobe Reeves of LSU Shreveport (La.) garnered the RRAC Pitcher of the Week honor for the same dates. This is the 12th set of weekly winners for the 2025 RRAC baseball season.

Milton racked up nine RBIs as the Saints went 1-2 in a three-game set with Texas A&M University-Texarkana. The sophomore outfielder from Spring, Texas, was 9-for-13 at the plate including 4-for-5 with four RBIs in a 14-4 opening game win. Milton homered and drove in four more runs in the final game as OLLU narrowly lost, 8-7. He is fifth in the RRAC with a .442 batting average this season. The Saints moved to 14-10 in conference play with a 21-21 mark on the season.  

Reeves picked up two wins as the Pilots broke the NAIA record for the best winning streak to start a season. The senior lefty from Ingleside, Texas, threw 10 innings across two starts as LSUS stretched its record to 40-0 on the season. Reeves scattered six hits over five innings and allowed two runs in a 7-4 win over Texas A&M University-Texarkana, and he limited University of the Southwest (N.M.) to two hits and a run in an 18-1 victory. For the week, he struck out 13 hitters and walked four. Reeves is 8-0 this season, and he ranks fourth in the RRAC in ERA (2.44) and strikeouts (81). The Pilots are 24-0 atop the conference standings.
