OLLU's Salas, Litterio return as RRAC softball player and pitcher of the week

WACO, Texas – Kristee Salas of Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) was named the RRAC Softball Player of the Week for April 14-20, while OLLU's Annika Litterio earned the RRAC Pitcher of the Week honor for the same dates. This is the 12^th set of weekly winners for the 2025 RRAC softball season.

Salas was 4-for-5 at the plate with four RBIs as the Saints swept a doubleheader with Texas A&M University-San Antonio. The graduate utility player from Edinburg, Texas, was 2-for-2 with a walk in the first game then homered twice while going 2-for-3 in the nightcap. Salas is tied for the conference lead with 10 home runs, and she is seventh in slugging percentage (.687). Fifth-ranked OLLU ascended to 27-1 in conference play and 41-7 on the season.

Litterio earned the win in the second game against TAMUSA with a two-hitter and a 7-0 shutout. The junior righthander from San Antonio retired 19 consecutive batters and finished with eight strikeouts and no walks. Litterio is second in strikeouts among all RRAC pitchers (147), and she is third in wins (17) and fifth in ERA (1.85).
