OLLU Claims 10th RRAC Men's Cross Country Championship, Saints Isai Moran Wins Individual Medal
TEXARKANA, Texas (Oct. 31, 2025) – Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) won the 2025 RRAC Men's Cross Country Championships with its 10th consecutive title. The event was held on the campus of Texas A&M-Texarkana. The Saints conquered the competition with seven of the top 10 individual finishes.
OLLU scored 22 points in its 10th consecutive championship. Runner-up A&M-Texarkana followed the Saints with 37 points, UNT-Dallas (Texas) with 99 points, the University of the Southwest (N.M.) with 101 points and Xavier University (La.) with 120 points.
The top medalist title went to OLLU's Isai Moran, who finished with a time of 24:07.27 in the 8K. Teammate Damon Gutierrez followed him with a time of 24:41.29, A&M-Texarkana's Levia Wagner, 24:53.06, OLLU's Joseph Gonzalez, 24:55.27 and A&M-Texarkana's Gideon Kiptoo 25:18.97.
Rounding out the top 10 were A&M-Texarkana's Chapman White (sixth), OLLU's Joel Telles (seventh) and teammates Sabastian Moreno (eighth), Tony Favella (ninth) and Jose Saucedo (10th). All ten finishers have earned All-Conference honors.
A&M-Texarkana's Gideon Kiptoo won the Freshman of the Year award.
