Six from RRAC Earn Fall NAIA All-America Team Honors

WACO, Texas (Dec. 27, 2025) – The RRAC is proud of the individuals who were named to the NAIA All-America teams this fall.

Men's soccer

RRAC's regular-season champion, LSU Shreveport, defeated Faulkner (Ala.) 3-2 in the first round. The Pilots fell to Warner Pacific (Ore.) in a 1-1 (4-3) draw in the Round of 16 to complete its season at 14-2-6 overall and 10-1 in conference. The Pilots have been ranked No. 12 in the final NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
 
Jack Thomas and Caleb Marchany from LSUS earned First-Team recognition, making them the program's first All-America honorees.
 
Thomas, a native of Whittington, England, broke program single-season records with 20 goals, 12 assists (52 points), 86 shots (46 on goal, .535 SOG), and delivered five golden goals. He also set the Pilots' career assist mark (22). 
 
Marchany, a native of Mayahuez, Puerto Rico, anchored the defense and scored one goal and shot 11 (eight on goal) with a .727 SOG percentage. 
 
 
Ronald Aguilar from Texas A&M-San Antonio was named to the NAIA All-America Third Team. The Jaguars did not qualify for the national tournament, finishing 11-4-2 overall and 8-3-1 in conference play. This is Aguilar's second consecutive year receiving this national honor. The senior forward from Chalatenango, El Salvador, played a significant role in what became the most successful season in TAMUSA men's soccer history.
 
Aguilar scored 20 goals and 10 assists (50 points) on 73 shots (36 on goal), with five game-winning goals.
 
The NAIA All-America committee consists of the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches Association Executive Committee and four men's soccer coaches representing different regions of the association.

Women's soccer

At nationals, XULA defeated Campbellsville (Ky.) 2-1 in the opening round, and the Gold Nuggets fell to William Carey (Miss.) 2-0 in the second round to end their season with a 12-3-4 overall record and 8-0-3 conference record. XULA came in second in the regular season and won the postseason tournament to capture the title. The Gold Nuggets received 42 votes in the final NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 poll.
 
XULA defender Shakiana Dagher and forward Samira Roper were both selected to the NAIA All-America Third Team.
 
Dagher, Athletic Solutions RRAC Defender of the Year from Barquisimento, Venezuela, anchored a defense that held opponents under one goal per game. She had one goal, eight assists, 19 shots (nine on goal), and two game-winners.
 
Roper, named Athletic Solutions RRAC Offensive Player of the Year, scored 26 points (ranked fourth nationally) in 19 matches. She had 55 points (ranked seventh in NAIA), 70 shots (44 on goal), and six game-winners. She is a native of Heredia, Costa Rica.
 
The NAIA All-America Committee consists of the NAIA-Women's Soccer Coaches Association officers and seven additional women's soccer coaches.

Volleyball

 
At nationals, Texas A&M-Texarkana closed its season in the Opening Round after losing 3-1 to The Master's (Calif.). As the top seed in the conference, the Eagles defeated Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) to win the postseason tournament trophy. They ended 2025 with a 25-7 overall record and a 9-1 conference record.
 
TAMUT's Paulina Dobreva earned NAIA All-America Third Team honors. She led the team with 406 kills, 56 service aces, 689 receptions, and 486.5 points, and ranked second with 418 digs. The Madrid, Spain, native was named Athletic Solutions RRAC Player of the Year and Attacker of the Year.
 
The NAIA-Volleyball Coaches Association (NAIA-VCA) Executive Committee selects the NAIA All-America teams during the NAIA Championship. The pool of candidates comes from the All-Conference/CAC teams.
