21 RRAC Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District Awards, Lauren Reynard from OLLU Selected as Academic All-American

WACO, Texas (Jan. 16, 2026) – On Jan. 13, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the volleyball, women's soccer, and men's soccer NAIA Academic All-America (AAA) selections, and late last year, the CSC named the NAIA Academic All-District (AAD) student-athletes. Eligible AAD selectees advanced to compete in the AAA awards.


RRAC Volleyball Academic All-District honors:

Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) setter Lauren Reynard

Texas A&M-Texarkana outside hitter Kaitlyn Cabral, defensive specialist/libero Lauren Herz, opposite hitter Flor Lazo, middle blocker Kelby Coutee

RRAC Men's Soccer Academic All-District honors:

RRAC Volleyball Academic All-America honors:

OLLU setter Lauren Reynard

 

Advancing to the Academic All-America competition was graduate student Lauren Reynard, who was selected to the Second Team. Reynard earned a 3.92 GPA as both an undergraduate and a graduate student. She is majoring in Computer Information Systems and Security. This past season, Reynard recorded 655 assists, 30 service aces, 39 kills, 120 digs, and 15 blocks. She finished out her career with 106 matches played, 370 sets, 180 kills, 3,369 assists, 121 aces, 620 digs, and 61 blocks.


Academic All-American is a title reserved for college student-athletes who perform at an elite level in their chosen sport and in the classroom. Teams are announced year-round and amplified by CSC member colleges, universities, and conferences. Nominating and voting for Academic All-America is an exclusive right for College Sports Communicators' members.

In volleyball, eligible nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches or start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches. Liberos, although not counted in stats as a starter, may be counted as such for nominating purposes.

Men's and women's soccer student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the team's matches or start in at least 66 percent of the institutions' games.

All nominees must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Each must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 as both an undergraduate and a graduate student.

The NAIA Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NAIA's national governance structure to assist CSC in managing the fulfillment of awards for the 2025-26 NAIA Academic All-America program.
