OLLU's Rocha and TAMUV's Hardy named RRAC Softball Players of the Week

WACO, Texas (Feb. 9, 2026) – The RRAC tabs (12) Our Lady of the Lake's (Texas) Lilly Rocha as Softball Player of the Week; Texas A&M-Victoria's Zoe Hardy takes Pitcher of the Week for Feb. 2-8. This is the second set of weekly awards.


RRAC Softball Player of the Week – Lilly Rocha – (12) Our Lady of the Lake (Texas)

Junior infielder Lilly Rocha led the Saints to a doubleheader sweep over NCAA D2 Sul Ross State (Texas) last week, guiding her team to 12-8 and 8-0 wins. She went 2-for-4, adding a double and three RBIs in the first game. In the second game, Rocha went 2-for-2, adding a home run, three RBIs, and a walk.

Rocha is in her second season with the Saints, and she has logged 43 runs, 53 hits, 13 doubles, two triples, 13 home runs, 18 walks, and seven stolen bases. Her career batting average is .351. Rocha is a junior and a native of Harlingen, Texas.

OLLU, ranked 12th in the nation, leads the conference with a .417 batting average, .485 on-base percentage, and .667 slugging percentage. The Saints are 4-0 overall.

RRAC Softball Pitcher of the Week – Zoe Hardy – Texas A&M-Victoria

Sophomore pitcher Zoe Hardy secured two wins vs. MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) (6-3) and Central Baptist (Ark.) (6-0). Against MAN, Hardy pitched a complete game, and allowed seven hits, three earned runs, two walks, and five strikeouts. In the game against Central Baptist, she pitched six innings, allowing five hits, no runs, and seven strikeouts. Hardy also pitched two innings in the Jaguars' 10-1 victory over NCAA D3 Concordia (Texas). She allowed one hit, one walk, and struck out two.

Hardy leads her team with a 1.17 ERA and a 3-0 record. She has tallied 16 strikeouts. She is in her first year with the Jaguars after transferring from NCAA D1 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Hardy is a native of Walla Walla, Wash.

TAMUV is 6-2 overall. The Jaguars lead the RRAC with 70 hits, 56 runs, 47 RBIs, 30 walks, 14 doubles, four triples, and six wins,

RRAC Notebook:

  • LCU senior infielder Lexi Broussard got at least one hit in all four games during the Generals Showdown Tournament. She came around to score at least one run in three of the four games, including two runs in both of Friday's games, a 13-4 win over TAMUSA, and a 3-1 win over Central Baptist. She marked a .556 batting average over the weekend.
  • TAMUV freshmen catcher Cristela Trevino went 6-for-12 through six games last week. She added two runs, three doubles, four RBIs, and three walks, for a .375 batting average. She had 18-of-18 putouts.
  • TAMUSA senior Tori Campos went 6-for-11 at the plate for a .545 batting average. She tallied five runs, three RBIs, and two stolen bases. On defense, she had six putouts and five assists.
  • LCU junior right-handed pitcher Olivia Falcon didn't allow an earned run over 10.1 innings of work Saturday at the Generals Showdown Tournament, which included picking up a complete game shutout win over MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) as LCU went 3-1 over the weekend.
  • OLLU senior right-handed pitcher Annika Litterio earned the 12-8 win over NCAA D2 Sul Ross State (Texas). She pitched 3.2 innings and allowed five hits and one earned run while striking out four. She pitched an 8-0 run-ruled game against SRS for five innings, striking out six.
