Stage is set for 2026 RRAC Men's Basketball Tournament Feb. 24-March 1
WACO, Texas (Feb. 24, 2026) - The stage is set for the 2026 RRAC Men's Basketball Tournament, and pairings have officially been determined. Quarterfinal matchups will be played at campus sites Feb. 24-25, while the semifinals and finals will take place in Alexandria, La., Feb. 28-March 1. LSU Alexandria is this year's tournament host at the Laborde Earles Coliseum.

#1 LSU Shreveport vs. #8 Texas A&M-San Antonio - Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
LSU Shreveport, coached by Kyle Blackenship in his 11th year, won the RRAC Regular Season Title with a 20-2 conference record and 23-5 overall, earning a No. 13 NAIA ranking. Their only losses were to Jarvis Christian (Texas) and Xavier (La.). The Pilots outscored conference opponents 2268-1662 and recorded 957 field goals (RRAC best), 203 three-pointers, 441 free throws, 379 offensive rebounds (RRAC best), 811 defensive rebounds (RRAC best), 1190 total rebounds (RRAC best), 486 assists (RRAC best), 169 blocks, 211 steals, 2560 points (RRAC best) for 91.4 points/game (RRAC best).
Hayden Brittingham leads LSUS with 491 points, 256 rebounds, 49 blocks, and 45 steals. Khi Wallace has added 429 points, averaging 15.3 per game, along with 40 blocks.
Earlier this season, LSUS beat TAMUSA 113-84 and 94-84.
TAMUSA ended the season with a 7-14 record and enters the tournament at 8-20. Head Coach Chris Dial joined the team for its inaugural season in 2024-25.
The Jaguars stats are as follows: 684 field goals, 181 threes, 471 free throws (RRAC best), 324 offensive rebounds, 773 defensive rebounds, 1097 total rebounds, 332 assists, 90 blocks, 222 steals, and 2020 points for 72.1 points/game.
Antwone Gonzales leads with 390 points, while Xzavier Brown leads the defense with 137 rebounds.
#2 LSU Alexandria vs. #7 Jarvis Christian (Texas) - Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m.
LSU Alexandria, the second seed, holds the record with seven regular-season championships and six postseason titles. Head Coach Dimario Jackson, in his second year, led the Generals to an 18-4 conference record and a 21-7 overall mark, earning 26 points in the latest NAIA poll.
The Generals have scored 2219 points, averaging 79.3 per game. They made 778-of-1783 field goals, 229-of-637 three-pointers (RRAC best), and 434-of-589 free throws, with 373 assists. Defensively, they have 1027 rebounds, 237 steals, and 78 blocks.
EJ McQuillan leads the team with 563 points, averaging 20.1 per game, and has 65 assists. TJ James leads in rebounds with 208, including 85 offensive and 123 defensive, and has 17 blocks.
LSUA beat JCU twice during the regular season, with scores of 68-59 and 73-66.
JCU is coached by Kelvin Gains. The Bulldogs finished the regular season 7-15 and are now 11-16 overall. Their biggest win came on Jan. 22, when they beat top-ranked LSUS 79-72.
The Bulldogs made 650-of-1627 field goals, 167-of-549 three-pointers, and 441-of-670 free throws. They have 1059 rebounds, 306 assists, 118 blocks, 205 steals, and 1908 total points.
Erin Wright leads JCU with 120-of-276 field goals, 57-of-152 three-pointers, totaling 369 points and averaging 16.8 per game. Iversyn Smith has 248 rebounds and 46 blocks.
#4 Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) vs. #5 Texas A&M-Texarkana - Feb. 24 at 7 p.m.
OLLU, the fourth seed, is coached by Marcus Thompson, now in his second season. The Saints have a 16-11 overall record and finished 15-7 in the RRAC.
This season, the Saints have made 709 field goals, 209 three-pointers, and 389 free throws. They have 982 rebounds, 341 assists, 88 blocks, 197 steals, and 2016 points, averaging 77.5 per game.
Jaydin Morin-Bishop leads OLLU with 109-of-245 field goals, 56-of-113 three-pointers, and 73-of-93 free throws, totaling 347 points and averaging 12.9 per game. He also leads with 24 offensive rebounds, 106 total rebounds, and 34 steals. Kenyon Elliott and Santiago Ochoa each have 53 assists, and Wahkil Lopez has 26 blocks.
The Saints lost to TAMUT 93-66 but won the other matchup 84-71.
TAMUT is the fifth seed, finishing with a 14-7 conference record and currently 19-9 overall. Head Coach Darion Brown is in his second year leading the Eagles.
TAMUT made 776-of-1800 field goals, 221-of-729 three-pointers, and 422-of-642 free throws. They have 367 offensive and 778 defensive rebounds for 1145 total, plus 374 assists, 89 blocks, 281 steals, and 2196 points, averaging 78.4 per game.
Devaunta Williams leads with 159-of-408 field goals, 72-of-93 free throws, 71 assists, 60 steals, and 445 points, averaging 16.5 per game. Jarren Cook leads in three-pointers with 91-of-243, Daryl Houston has 227 rebounds, and Jason Bush Jr. has 21 blocks.
#3 Xavier (La.) vs. #6 University of North Texas-Dallas - Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m.
Alfred Williams, in his 11th year as head coach, led XULA to a 15-7 conference record and a 19-9 overall record.
The Gold Rush stats include 800-of-1763 field goals, 216-of-622 threes, and 410-of-632 free throws. They added 1018 rebounds, 438 assists, 117 blocks, 330 steals (RRAC best), and 2229 points for an average of 79.6 points/game.
The team is led by Jamal Gibson, who has made 107-of-200 field goals, 64 offensive rebounds, 96 defensive rebounds, 160 total rebounds, and 254 points for an average of 14.9 points/game. Teammate Bentravin Phillips leads with 87 assists, and Leon Williams has 42 steals, and 25 blocks.
UNTD, the sixth seed, has an 11-15 overall record and finished 10-12 in the RRAC. The Trailblazers are coached by Josh Howard, now in his sixth season.
The Trailblazers have scored 1803 points, averaging 69.3 per game. They made 623-of-1544 field goals, 142-of-517 three-pointers, and 415-of-629 free throws. The team has 1057 rebounds, 337 assists, 178 steals, and 76 blocks.
Greg Crawford leads UNTD with 109-of-234 field goals, 178-of-260 free throws, totaling 400 points (15.4 per game), and also leads with 270 rebounds, 66 assists, and 28 steals. Demaryon Thornton leads in three-pointers with 43-of-133, and DaRyan Williams has 28 blocks.
UNTD and XULA split their games this season, with scores of 62-73 and 77-73.
What's next
The winner of LSUA vs. JCU will face the winner of XULA vs. UNTD on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 5:30 p.m. The winner of LSUS vs. TAMUSA will play the winner of OLLU vs. TAMUT at 7:30 p.m. The championship game is set for Sunday, March 1.
As regular-season champions, LSUS gets an automatic bid to the 88th Annual Men's Basketball National Championship Opening Rounds on March 13-14 at various campus sites. The final rounds will be held March 19-24 at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. The tournament champion or runner-up will also earn an automatic bid to nationals.
