A&M-Victoria's Morales, OLLU's Litterio garner RRAC Softball Weekly Awards

WACO, Texas (March 23, 2026) – Texas A&M-Victoria's Angelina Morales has been selected as the RRAC Softball Player of the Week, and No. 8 Our Lady of the Lake's (Texas) Annika Litterio as the Pitcher of the Week for the dates of March 23-29. This is the ninth set of weekly awards. 

RRAC Softball Player of the Week – Angelina Morales – Texas A&M-Victoria

Junior utility Angelina Morales continued her hot streak last week, collecting eight hits and nine RBIs to complete a sweep of Southwest (N.M.). The Pasadena, Texas, native has hit safely in each of the last six games and amassed 13 RBIs over that span.

Morales went 8-for11, adding five runs, three doubles, two assists, three putouts, and a double play.

In the season, she has a .430 batting average, 79 at-bats, 24 runs, 34 hits (team-best), nine doubles (team-best), two triples, a home run, 29 RBIs (team-best), a slugging average of .633, 10 walks, three SAC flies, nine stolen bases, 30 putouts, and 32 assists.

TAMUV is 20-10 and 11-4 in the RRAC. The Jaguars have won six consecutive games.

RRAC Softball Pitcher of the Week – Annika Litterio – No. 8 Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) 

Senior Annika Litterio guided the Saints to 6-1 and 10-1 wins over LCU, both of which were complete games. She pitched a total of 12 innings, allowing four hits, one earned run, and 14 strikeouts.

Litterio is 18-3 on the season, second-best in the NAIA, and seventh with 121 strikeouts.

In the RRAC, she started in 15 games, pitched 101.1 innings, and added one save. Litterio has an ERA of 1.73 and a WHIP of .91.

This is Litterio's fourth RRAC pitcher of the week award.

OLLU is 27-4 overall and 16-0 in conference. The Saints are ranked No. 8 in the NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

RRAC Notebook:

• XULA freshman left fielder Jada Jones went 8-for-20 (.400) with seven RBIs, five runs scored, a double, and two triples, and went 6-for-6 on stolen bases.
• OLLU sophomore utility Yezenia Perez led her team to three wins against LCU. She went 6-for-8, adding two doubles and three RBIs.
• LCU sophomore first baseman Myah Talbert went 2-for-8 in three losses to OLLU. She added 15 putouts on 16 chances.
• LSUA utility Livie Thobodeaux went 7-for-16, adding five runs, two doubles, a triple, and three RBIs.
• TAMUT junior utility Mackenzie Williams led her team to four wins, going 5-for-9, adding four runs, a double, and an RBI.
• LCU sophomore right-handed pitcher Addison Bailey pitched two innings in a 10-1 loss to OLLU.
• XULA freshman Morgan Malveaux went 3-1 as a starter this week, with her only loss coming at the hands of NCAA D1 Southern University. She struck out 24 batters on the week – five in a loss to Southern, six in a win against Baton Rouge Community College, six in a win against Jarvis Christian, and seven in a win against JCU.
• LSUA pitcher Lainee Bailey got two wins against Texas A&M-San Antonio. In her team's five games, she struck out eight.
• TAMUT junior pitcher Alexis Snyder recorded two wins – 8-1 versus Dallas Christian and 8-0 versus Texas College. She pitched nine innings and struck out six.
• TAMUV sophomore right-handed pitcher Zoe Hardy had a career-high 10 strikeouts while pitching 6.2 innings of relief in game one against USW.
