RRAC Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships scheduled for April 24-25 in New Orleans

WACO, Texas (April 23, 2026) – The 2026 RRAC Men's and Women's Track and Field Championships are scheduled for April 24-25, hosted by Xavier University of Louisiana. Participating in this year's Championships are Jarvis Christian (Texas), Our Lady of the Lake (Texas), Texas A&M-Texarkana, Texas College, North Texas-Dallas, and Xavier.
 
The meet will be held at Tad Gormley Stadium in New Orleans.
 
Friday's running events will begin at 3 p.m. with the women's 4x800m relay and men's 4x800m relay. The women's 4x100m relay and men's 4x100m relay, as well as the women's 3000m run and men's 3000m run, follow. Next are the women's 100m hurdles and men's 110m hurdles, then the women's 400m dash and men's 400m dash. The women's 10,000m run and men's 10,000m run will close out the first day of track events at 4:50 p.m.
 
Friday's field events will start at noon with men's and women's discus. The javelin throw follows, and the triple jump will finish the first-day field events beginning at 3 p.m.
 
Saturday's field events begin at 10 a.m. with the men's and women's hammer throw. The long jump and high jump follow. The shot put, starting at 12:30 p.m., ends the field events.
 
Saturday's track events start with the women's and men's 100m. Events continue with the 800m, 400m hurdles, 1500m, 200m, and 5000m. The 4x400m relay will finish the meet, starting at 3:20 p.m.
 
The Award Ceremony for Day One events will be held on Day Two at 10:30 a.m. Awards from Day Two will be presented 30 minutes after the 4x400m relays conclude.
 
The following awards will be recognized at the RRAC Championships:
  • Individual conference champions (per event): Male and Female
  • Top 8 finishers (per event): Male and Female
  • Male and Female Athlete of the Meet
  • RRAC All-Conference

All-Conference winners will be the top four finishers in each event. Athlete of the Meet is awarded to the athlete who scores the most points. If there is a tie, the athlete with the most first-place finishes wins. If tied again, most second-place finishes will decide.
