Xavier's Jeffries and TAMUT's Edwards named NAIA All-American at NAIA Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (May 24, 2026) – The 45th Annual Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships concluded after a week of weather delays. Xavier University of Louisiana, Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas), Texas A&M University – Texarkana, and Jarvis Christian University (Texas) represented the Red River Athletic Conference.
 
Rochelle Jeffries from Xavier qualified for the finals after placing second in the prelims of the 100m hurdles, clocking 13.73 to best 27 other participants and post the fourth-fastest time in the NAIA this season. In the finals, Jeffries won the Bronze Medal, running a personal-best 13.86 to earn NAIA All-American honors.
 
Charleon Doxley ran the 100m hurdles prelims in 14.16, and Jade Harris ran in 14.26.
 
The women's 4x100m relay team, consisting of London Provo, Doxley, Jeffries, and Jaelyn Mitchell, recorded a time of 46.66.
 
OLLU's Lawren Tanner participated in the long jump and achieved a mark of 5.30m
 
TAMUT's Vinae Edwards took second in the triple jump at 12.12m, earning NAIA All-American honors as NAIA Runner Up.
 
Additionally, JCU's Sanaa Allison-Williams cleared 1.62m in the high jump.
