OLLU advances to the fourth-place Softball World Series game after defeating Mobile 1-0
COLUMBUS, Ga. (May 26, 2026) – Annika Litterio pitched a complete-game shutout for Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas), leading the Saints to a 1-0 win over the University of Mobile (Ala.) today. The Saints advance to face Indiana Wesleyan in Game 16 of the 45th NAIA Softball National Championship World Series. Follow live stats live here.
Game Recap
Following their win, fifth-ranked OLLU enters the upcoming game with a 46-12 record, while Mobile concludes its season at 40-18.
Continuing the theme of strong pitching, Litterio dominated the circle, allowing just two hits and two walks in the game. On the other side, Mobile pitcher Avery Harrell kept the Saints from scoring through the sixth inning despite allowing three hits. The deadlock was finally broken in the sixth inning when the Saints scored the game-winning run after a hit from Caitlin Casas to left field, sending Danika Jimenez home. Jimenez pinch ran for Lilly Rocha, who had doubled to begin the inning.
Despite not recording any strikeouts in her win, Litterio (29-9) benefited from strong support. Yezenia Perez led all players on the field with three hits in three at-bats, while Tania Rodriguez, Dovalee Gloria, and Perez each contributed to a double play.
Meanwhile, for the Knights, Lucy Spisto and Daryelin Rivas had their only hits.

For individual performances, the Saints are led by centerfielder Arianna Alejandro, who tops the team with 164 at-bats, 63 runs, 70 hits, 18 doubles, seven triples, 39 RBIs, 15-of-15 stolen bases, a .427 batting average, a .520 on-base percentage, and 108 total bases.
Similarly, the Wildcats feature standout players such as Danica Fuller, who is batting .420 with a .567 on-base percentage and 21 stolen bases. Whitney Waddell leads with 55 runs, 78 hits, and 11 sacrifice hits. Brylee Bilger has 14 home runs, and Maddie Martin has 65 RBIs. Additionally, Avery Toole is 22-4 with a 2.14 ERA, having pitched 173.2 innings and striking out 152.
