LSUS women end season with loss to Campbellsville in NAIA second round

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (March 14, 2026) – The reigning RRAC regular-season and postseason champion LSU Shreveport suffered a heartbreaking 66-59 loss to Campbellsville (Ky.) (24-7) in the second round of the 2026 Women's Basketball Championship Tournament. Campbellsville, the No. 5-ranked team in the NAIA, will advance to the 45th Annual Women's Basketball National Championships in Sioux City, Iowa, beginning March 19.

Texas A&M-San Antonio ends season with loss in the second round of nationals

WICHITA, Kan. (March 14, 2026) – Texas A&M-San Antonio ended its season with a second-round loss in the 2026 Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament. Hastings (Neb.) won 100-73 and advances to the 45th Annual Women’s Basketball National Championships in Sioux City, Iowa, starting March 19.

RRAC's LSUS advances to NAIA Women's Tournament second round after defeating Benedictine

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (March 14, 2025) – No. 7 LSU Shreveport routed No. 10 Benedictine (Kan.) in the first round of the NAIA National Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament. The 76-63 victory sends the Pilots to the Campbellsville Bracket Championship game against Campbellsville on March 14 at 2 p.m. The Eagles end their season with an overall record of 17-9. The Pilots improve to 28-4.

RRAC's Texas A&M-San Antonio defeats Corban to advance to second round of nationals

WICHITA, Kan. (March 13, 2025) – In their first-ever appearance at the NAIA National Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament, the Jaguars of Texas A&M-San Antonio powered past Corban University 94-82 in the first round. Corban, from Salem, Ore., concludes its season with a 26-5 record.

WACO, Texas (March 11, 2026) – The RRAC extends its congratulations to LSU Shreveport and Texas A&M-San Antonio, who have earned their spot in the opening rounds of the 2026 NAIA 2026 Women’s Basketball National Tournament. The first and second rounds will take place at various campus sites from March 13-14. Winners will advance to the 45th Annual Women’s Basketball Championship from March 19-24 at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

ALEXANDRIA, La. (March 1, 2026) - LSU Shreveport used a decisive second-quarter surge to seize control and held off Texas A&M–San Antonio late, earning a 64-59 victory in the RRAC Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship Sunday afternoon at Laborde Earles Coliseum.

(Feb. 28, 2026) - In the first semifinal matchup of the 2026 RRAC Women’s Basketball Tournament, second-seeded Texas A&M-San Antonio used efficient shooting and timely free throws to secure a 71-62 win over third-seeded Texas A&M–Texarkana. Top-seed LSU Shreveport relied on a hot shooting night and strong rebounding to defeat Xavier (La.) 79-68. The championship match is set for 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, at the Laborde Earles Coliseum in Alexandria, La.

LSU Alexandria is this year’s tournament host at the Laborde Earles Coliseum.
